El exintegrante de The Clash tendrá su reconocimiento en la ciudad de Granada.
Joe Strummer, cantante de The Clash, es querido en todo el mundo y ahora tendrá una calle en Granada, España, ciudad a la que le cantó y amó.
“La solicitud está ya en la Comisión de Honores y Distinciones y va a salir adelante sin problemas: Granada tendrá una calle que se llamará Joe Strummer”, le contó Juan García Montero, concejal de Cultura del Ayuntamiento de la capital al portal Ideal.
Un grupo de ciudadanos pidieron por las redes sociales el reconocimiento en su memoria y, bajo el título #UnacalleparaStrummer, los fans se sumaron a la iniciativa.
El músico murió el 22 de diciembre de 2002. Recordando a Joe Strummer
